Why use honeycomb grids? RiME LITE’s 20 degree honeycomb grid gives straight light onto your photographed subject. Honeycomb grids are used to collect light spills (in this case, a strobe’s light) and channel it to the center of each hole, resulting in the light shooting out of the grid in a straight fashion, without spilling out of the reflector’s sides.
